These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of The Skate Camp's website.  The Skate Camp is located at: 40 Bloomsbury Way, Lower Ground Floor, London, WC1A 2SE, United Kingdom.

 

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use The Skate Camp's website if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

 

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. 

 

All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of United Kingdom. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

 

1. Cookies

We employ the use of cookies. By using The Skate Camp's website you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with The Skate Camp’s privacy policy. Most modern day interactive web sites use cookies to retrieve user details for each visit. Cookies are used in some areas of our site to enable the functionality of this area and ease of use for those people visiting. Some of our affiliate and/or advertising partners may also use cookies. 

 

2. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, The Skate Camp and/or it’s licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on The Skate Camp. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may view and/or print pages from theskatecamp.com for your own personal use subject to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

  • Sell, rent or sub-license material from theskatecamp.com
  • Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from theskatecamp.com
  • Redistribute content from The Skate Camp (unless content is specifically made for redistribution).

Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the information on this website is correct, we do not warrant its completeness or accuracy; nor do we commit to ensuring that the website remains available or that the material on the website is kept up to date.

 

3. Content Liability

We shall have no responsibility or liability for any content appearing on your Web site. You agree to indemnify and defend us against all claims arising out of or based upon your Website. No link(s) may appear on any page on your Web site or within any context containing content or materials that may be interpreted as libellous, obscene or criminal, or which infringes, otherwise violates, or advocates the infringement or other violation of, any third party rights.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to our website and the use of this website (including, without limitation, any warranties implied by law in respect of satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and/or the use of reasonable care and skill). 

Nothing in this disclaimer will limit or exclude our or your liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence; limit or exclude our or your liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; limit any of our or your liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable law; or exclude any of our or your liabilities that may not be excluded under applicable law.

The limitations and exclusions of liability set out in this Section and elsewhere in this disclaimer: (a) are subject to the preceding paragraph; and (b) govern all liabilities arising under the disclaimer or in relation to the subject matter of this disclaimer, including liabilities arising in contract, in tort (including negligence) and for breach of statutory duty.

To the extent that the website and the information and services on the website are provided free of charge, we will not be liable for any loss or damage of any nature.

 

5. Tickets Terms and Conditions

Any decisions to change or cancel events by the venue operator are not the responsibility of The Skate Camp, and thus The Skate Camp cannot be held responsible for any resulting costs you may incur for travel, accommodation, any other related goods or service or other compensation. You should always check that an event is going ahead at the scheduled date, time and venue.

If the hosting rink or The Skate Camp cancels an event or makes significant changes to the venue, date, we will try to inform you. This will usually be contacted by email for online bookings. In urgent cases it may be by phone.

If an event is rescheduled, changed or moved, The Skate Camp will usually give you the option of either retaining or exchanging your tickets for the new date/location, or alternatively claiming a refund. If an event is canceled by The Skate Camp you will normally be offered a refund. Please note that any Booking Fee and Transaction Fees are not refundable in these circumstances.

If an event is rescheduled to another date, and your ticket is still valid, and you can't make the rescheduled date, then you're entitled to a full refund.

The ticket seller is responsible for giving you a refund for tickets to a canceled event.

We will try to dispatch your tickets to you electronically promptly and in a timely manner.

Tickets cannot be transferred, exchanged, or refunded once purchased other than for the reasons set out in these terms and conditions. 

No duplicate tickets will be issued to replace tickets that have been lost or stolen after they have been delivered to you, and nor will such tickets be refunded.

 

6. Refunds

If for any reason you are entitled to a refund, in most cases you must return any tickets you have and follow the refund instructions otherwise you may not receive a refund. If these require you to return the tickets, do so promptly and within the time frame communicated to you.

Any refund will usually be paid, using the same method you used to buy the tickets, within 30 days of the original date of the event or the date that we receive your returned tickets, whichever is later.

If the face value has been reduced by the organiser, the refund will be for the discounted face value price paid.

 

7. Photography

The Skate Camp will be photographed and on rare occasions, may be filmed or recorded. Buying a ticket affirms your consent to the filming and sound recording of yourself as a member of the audience. If you have any objection please contact hello@theskatecamp.com.

 

8. Attending an event

The Skate Camp has no responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage of any kind suffered at or in connection with any event (including loss, damage or theft any personal property at an event).

Admission to an event is at all times subject to any terms, conditions or rules of The Skate Camp and the venue operator. If you breach those terms, conditions or rules then The Skate Camp or venue operator may refuse admission or require you or other ticket holders to leave the venue.

Amongst other things you will need to comply with health and safety rules and any security requirements (including security searches for the safety of those attending the event). The venue operator and The Skate Camp will have rights to refuse admission or eject you in certain circumstances and these are likely to include if you are involved with abusive, threatening, drunken or other anti-social behaviours, or carry offensive weapons or illegal or prohibited substances or make unauthorised audio, video or photographic recordings. There will often also be rules restricting or preventing the admission of latecomers.

The Skate Camp will highlight any terms, conditions or rules relating to the event of which it is aware and which it considers particularly significant, onerous or unusual. This will generally include age restrictions, ticket types etc. Information on where you can find full details of relevant terms, conditions or rules will be available from The Skate Camp via their website or during the online booking process.

Before you finalise your booking, please read all the information that applies to the event and/or ticket. If you or any member of your party has particular requirements please raise these when booking and we will endeavour to address your query. There can be no guarantee that requirements can be met if notified at the event.

When you receive your tickets check the details carefully. When attending the event, carry proof of age if appropriate.
